Dear Mr. Winkle,
Thank you for your letter regarding Rubbermaid ice cube trays. I apologize for the frustration you have experienced and hope that a couple of helpful hints will alleviate the problem of releasing the ice cubes.

We suggest that you rinse the ice cube trays with warm water before you fill them. There are deposits from hard water which can condense from the inside when the water freezes, making the ice cubes stick. Additionally, if you fill the trays to just below the rim of each slot, that will also make it easier to release the cubes. I'm enclosing some new trays for you to try out. If I can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely

David T. Gibbons
